Manly Deeds represents our chapter’s commitment to service, leadership, and action. The Beta Gamma Chapter actively engages in initiatives that address real needs within our community, including volunteer service, mentorship programs, voter engagement, and partnerships with local organizations.
Through consistent outreach and hands-on involvement, our Brothers strive to create measurable, lasting change while setting an example of integrity, accountability, and service-driven leadership.

Scholarship is a foundational pillar of the Beta Gamma Chapter. During the Spring 2025 semester, the chapter achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.195, as certified by Virginia State University. Nineteen Brothers earned GPAs above a 3.0, reflecting a strong culture of academic accountability and support.
The chapter proudly recognizes Bro. Erich Fischbacher Jr. and Bro. DeCarlos Nora III, who both earned a 4.0 GPA, receiving honors as Brothers with the Highest GPA at the Eastern Region and VACAPAF levels. Through structured study hours, academic mentorship, and recognition of scholastic excellence, Beta Gamma continues to foster an environment where achievement in the classroom is both expected and celebrated.

Through our Brother’s Keeper program and other community initiatives, Beta Gamma embodies Love for All Mankind. Brothers have visited widows of our chapter’s pioneers, like Mrs. Margaret Davis and Dr. Ruth C. Harris, offering yard work, holiday gift baskets, and companionship while collaborating with members of neighboring chapters.
We also engage youth through programs like the “Go‑To‑High‑School, Go‑To‑College” field day and college fair at Varina High School, where we encouraged students and shared information about higher education. These efforts reflect our historic commitment to compassion, support, and positive impact across our community.
The Beta Gamma Chapter is a 501(c)(7) social organization, and while contributions are not tax-deductible, donations are appreciated to help support our programs, operations, and chapter initiatives.
